WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK?
We managed to interview 3 people (girls above 18). Just a reminder, our target audience are people between the age of 18 and 30. Unfortunately we did not manage to collect data from any boys, however, the song is very pop-y despite it's punk nature, therefore the majority of people watching the video would be girls.
Most of the feedbacks received were positive (which we are very proud of), we have managed to meet the audience's expectations- a love story, colourful and vibrant. One of the girls was very impressed by the colours used and the boosting energy that they give. Others mentioned the surprise at the end, which we used specifically in order to give the notion of looking.
Not all of the comments were positive, but we are glad for that because we can learn from the mistakes we have made and improve our video making in the future. Some of the criticisms were regarding the camera movements, there are 2 scenes where you can spot a wobbly camera action, fortunately it is not very visible. Another comment was that at the beginning, some of the performance footage does not match and the first scene where the guitar player quickly moves away from the camera can be a bit overwhelming. The reason why we used some shots that do not exactly match the song is because we wanted to show the band in a different light and add some ''behind the
stage'' scenes to create a silly and cheerful image of the video.
stage'' scenes to create a silly and cheerful image of the video.
Overall, we are glad we received a lot of positive feedback and that we managed to meat our target audience's expectations. :)
